Happy anniversary to me. It's been two years since I began blogging--first on blogster, now mybloggers.
I really didn't know what I was getting into. I started because I was both curious and bored (in December). My first "friends" were Sue (Skyblue/Susil) and Jeri (elderjane). Sue recommended me to others, and away I went.
Since then, I've made many friends, perhaps some enemies. I've met two people in person with hopes of meeting more. Both, by the way, were different than I expected from reading their posts and comments--in a good way, of course.
I've gained some insights and perspectives on others' lives. I've enjoyed getting to know people from around the states and world. I just wish I could devote more time to explore others. Until just recently, I've never found another Hoosier.
In fact, I write a lot of posts about Indiana because I figure there are persons like me that are curious about other places. Indiana sometimes feels like it's in another world!
I have written many posts about my own life and views, because I have opinions to vent and nobody to share them with--at least not in my house (I'm solitaire, remember). I find blogging is a good outlet for my thoughts and feelings. Plus, like most of us, I need to "brag" on my accomplishments in order to build up my ego and receive a few "atta boys". For that, thank you readers and friends. I suffer through much computer angst just to get some needed compliments.
If anybody is "in the neighborhood", you are more than welcome to drop by, get a bite to eat, stay overnight(s), see the sites, have a glass of wine, whatever. Bring the family. I've got plenty of room. Keep in touch.
Thanks for your support and friendship.
Randy
