Now I don't have to write a post on this great icon. Thanks. While the aforementioned "Take Five" and "Blue Rondo" were synonymous with Brubeck, for me, the "side B" songs were my favorites, esp. "Kathy's Waltz". I'm playing tapes all day in his honor. I saw his group live at IU back in 61-2 and was forever a fan. And, while I'm not a saxophone liker, Paul Desmond was the greatest!
