I must be dense, but I don't understand the photo's message. I've been on many a hike where I saw no one. I worry about getting bit by a rattler or bear while out alone.
Looking good. Worth the effort (and heartache).
And a good time was had by all!
I love the look on the cat's face!
This, too, shall pass! Enjoy while we can.
I've seen some mighty impressive petroglyphs in Utah, most notables being: Newspaper Rock in Canyonlands NP, Horseshoe Canyon, and all those in Grand Gulch (off the beaten path--not exactly permitted). And yes, I stuff my pockets with trash (i.e. beer cans) whenever I go for a walk/jog. Shameful.
Along with the humor, intriguing post. I suppose I'm with you on this. It's too early in the morning to ponder the subject.
I hate to keep using the word ubiquitous, but that's the word that comes to mind. This kind of dabbling in all food genres is pretty commonplace. Not only do restaurants want to "all welcoming" in food preferences, but they invite young and old alike. Still, a vegetarian eatery shouldn't offer meat dishes--or should they? (She wants tofu, I want a steak!)
I plead ignorance ("ad ignorantium"!) to economics. My stock broker has seen many a "deer in the headlights" look from me! Say what?
Rather bizarre.
I'm still trying to understand what you're saying!
Like the shoeless homeless man the NYC policeman responded to, one never really knows. Sometimes you get burned, but then, other times.....
I still think you made the right choice in "disconnecting". You don't need the aggravation and heartache. If it weren't for friends like you, I'd be dropping out of this blog site. It's still home for me. Hang in there (trite, but true).
I lost my very best high school friend from a fall off a ladder 10 years ago. I'm still doing it, but shouldn't, I know.
My "back-up" is a little black (actually yellow) book. Keeps track of all my passwords, too. I still can't figure out why I get an "invalid password" response every now and then.
