With a Month to Go ...

With Indiana's primaries a month away (May 6), we've already been visited beaucoup times by presidential candidates and their families.
Accustomed to being virtually ignored, we Hoosiers are enjoying--even basking in--the attention. Not only the candidates are making appearances throughout the state, but high profile entertainers are here to support their choice.

My state is a little brother to the bigger surrounding states. We have to fight for recognition. So naturally, we're enjoying our month in the spotlight. We're trying to forget Dan Quayle come from here (and John Dillinger and Charles Manson!).
Interest and excitement is building on the political front. Stay tuned.

This year it seems as if every state counts! What a good sign! It used to be that even California didn't make a difference in the primaries and it has a huge number of votes! Good for all of the states that are made to feel important, because they all ARE!!

Isn't Indiana known for its corn?? Now you are finding yourself knee deep in the husks (politicians). Happy treading, be sure to wash your hands.

I voted for Hillary in TX...it was an emotional, irrational, feminist response. I regret my choice. Oh, and you forgot the most famous Hoosier of 'em all: Michael Jackson!

Indiana's primary is very important for sure. Hope you have a chance to hear Obama speak. He and his message/plans/platform rock. A class act. I voted for him.
