While waiting for my coffee to percolate (I have the old fashioned percolator which takes 10 minutes), I went out to get the Sunday paper (worthless) and take some pictures of what I've talked about in recent weeks. I'll attempt to add them here, but it's always failed in the past.
Yep. Just as I figured: "Error: The image you uploaded is too large." I haven't learned how to shrink the kilobytes.
I'll add them to my "photos" (under avatar) and you can go there (hopefully) to see them (if you wish).
Photo 1: wood to be split and stored in woodshed.
Photo 2: "wildflower" patch out my back door. I used to have a above-ground pool, then a pond there.
Photos 3 and 4: my "in progress" brick driveway. You might be able to see how much I've added this past month. I have a very long way to go to the road! No intentions of ever making it.
Photo 5: Not a good picture, but it's my garden (one of patches). The buckets and cages are for covering certain plants from rabbits overnight.
I try to keep under control about an acre of land--sort of an island surrounded by corn and bean fields. I'll probably be working on all three projects today (wood, bricks, garden). I think I have around 75 trees, many of which bear fruits and nuts.
Nice day to be outdoors. A 5 mile walk is planned, too. I tried to jog yesterday, but my hip is still bothering me. I really should rest it, but my brain won't let me.
Have a good day (and week). It's great to be alive.
