Good for you Bugg, I am sure you will enjoy the new living conditions. Change is good. Too bad about not stopping at Vegas, who knows you might have seen our ol pal Paulie Walnuts! He has been missing since Denver. Keep us informed and when you get settled get on line and let us know how ya are doin.
Bugg, you said,,, "you could be right, stephy. they could be doing this just to be kind. guess I should stop being so paranoid huh? its just so out of character for them."
I can totally understand the doubts, and concern. As we get older we need to have our guard up, and look out for number one. There are always scum out there looking to take advantage of the elderly (yep thats us!). Pat (the wife remember?) always said that my biggest problems is I don't trust people, and look for their "Hidden Agenda" when they offer something.
Well,,,,,having a dysfunctional family myself, You have to be cautious. They know your living conditions now, maybe they do want to help. They know you got no dough, they know the full time day care has closed,,, will you have your own room with a lock? You will have to weigh the pros and cons,,, Pro, Not by yerself anymore,, Back near the kids,, Lower expenses,, Away from your current living nightmare,, A change of scenery is always good,,
Con, Less privacy,, Need new doctors,,
yada yada yada,,, I guess you have plenty of things running through your head, you have come right out and told them no daycare center, no cash stash, so it's time for Buggs to decide, "Whats best for Buggs". Good luck with your decision,,
Once again you wrote a great post sis! You know my story and my sorry family, but with you, and Pat, I know what it means to be appreciated. Thanks to all our past, present, and future Vets! Sadly there will always be a need for them.
There are so many great places to visit practically in our own back yard.
Well said Grumpy, Boomers rank only behind the Greatest Generation, the WWII era generation. There was real sacrifice and dedication. Some people who have never had to put up or shut up, should consider shutting up!
I thought I wuz da only one.
Come'on you can do it. one key at a time.
Flo said you were in a hurry to get home, something important you wanted to blog.
Great gift for the talented! I would love to learn to play guitar. Only four strings, didn't know that. But then again there's plenty I don't know.
Have a great trip. See you when you get back.
nice post sis. I bet you thought I fell under a truck or sumtin'. I'll try to get out and about more, I promise.
I do like that poem. I am not into poems, but that has a great message. I myself like cold and rain, I guess that makes me kind of wierd. Thought I better make the rounds, I have been away too long. See ya around.
Keep us informed and when you get settled get on line and let us know how ya are doin.
