Sunday Thoughts

As I watch the news and see all these celebs passing I am left with one thought, when it comes your time that's it. It doesn't matter whether you are old or young, black or white, male or female, or even gay or straight. Death stalks you like a grizzly bear, until it eventually hunts you down and takes your life. It doesn't matter how rich or poor you are either, we have seen some famous people pass away in recent months..and there is no rhyme or reason either. Old age, unhealthy lifestyles, cancer, accidents, the reasons seem to vary as much as the people that death came to. Well enough about that subject, lets talk about the art of peddling a product..chocolate bars. My darling daughters are selling chocolate bars(along with their classmates)in support of their school. We have two girls and they each have a box of chocolate to sell, between the them it comes to 60 bars at $2 a pop. I took them out to sell some the other day, we have done well..we have only 14 bars left to sell. I took them to people who I knew(or at least had a good idea)would purchase from them. It's seems like every time I turn around the kids are selling something, for all this selling the kids should get some credit in a economic course. People are still generous though I have noticed, whether they purchased 1 bar or 5 they still bought. I appreciate all that contributed and I let them know, especially in these times. I picked football teams last week, I was 13 for 16. I don't know a lot about football..I just picked the teams I thought would win. I have already picked the teams for this week, we will see what happens this time around. Well have a wonderful Sunday and look for the latest installment of my book "Trailer Park Chronicles" coming soon to MyBloggers and Blogster.
