Starting off on the Right Foot..i Guess
This past Monday Lt Governor David Paterson was sworn in as New Yorks 1st African-American Governor. After listening to his first speech as Governor one has to ask if Governor Paterson is or was a movie buff. If the Governor is I can bet one of his favorite movies is "American President". For he used this immortal line from the movie, "Let me introduce myself, I am David Paterson..and I am the Governor of New York State". Sure, he lifted a line from a movie..at least he didn't break out in the song "Spiderpig" from the "Simpsons".
