If nothing else zoo's will save certain species from extinction, so that people can enjoy them for years to come. They won't have to look in a book and wonder what they looked like. Also it has been man's greed that has made zoo's a necessity.

Jeri, I remember when my dad had to stop driving..it was hard for him to admit he no longer had the ability to be behind the wheel. But he recognized the danger he'd put people in if he continued to drive, so he gave up his keys. But luckily my brother was around to take him where he needed to go, always making time for stops at DD & McDonalds. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

3 people from "The Discovery Channel" were killed when the tornado they were following suddenly turned in their direction and they couldn't get out of the way. My question is this, why were you following an F3 tornado that closely anyway???

Have not seen this film, but will look for it and check it out. Though I am not a big fan of Sean Penn I have seen his work and am impressed with some of his roles.

Kevin that story takes me back to my Grandmother (my mom's side), she was a baker from the word go. She made homemade bread, cookies, cakes, and pies. She would even make homemade lemonade..with real lemons

I love zoo's & aquariums and of course historical landmarks. I worked at an art museum for almost 19 years, and I can appreciate great artwork, while stationed in Germany I visited Paris and went to the Louver...and yes saw the "Mona Lisa"
