Seems to me when the word "catastrophic" is used to describe an act of nature you'd want to make sure you were nowhere in the area when it occurredSo why did they stay, and are these people going to start complaining because they didn't get rescued in a timely fashion
Looks like a writers paradise
I've got 3 kids (9,8,7) that won't give me any space on my plate for anything as trite at "male menopause"
Maybe I can be the "blog brother"..you know the one nobody talks about
Grumpy, I wish you much happiness for your birthdayLord knows if there is someone that deserves it..it's you!!
I've got to be good..got to keep up with this intelligent crowd I hang with here
You have experienced a life changing event in your life, and I believe it will take your mind a little time to realize that. But also I think that once your mind & body get to that place where they are both in sync then you will start to feel better...both physically and mentally, and if you need a little help getting to that point so be it
I think i'd want to know, and how kind you were to give him a proper burial. Most people would've jut left it there to decay, thats not good especially if it's a childs pet.
I believe a change needs to be made, and the sooner the better. Is Obama/Biden the answer?? Politics as is life is a crapshoot, and do- overs a few and far between. But I do know if change is to come then it has to be a joint effort, partisan politics & finger pointing is not going to get the job done. There needs to be dialogue and a plan put in place to move use forward, not to sink us deeper into this quagmire in which we seem to be mired in.
Just at those times you need a laugh...thanks Martin
first a belated happy birthdayIt has turned colder here, suppose to get down to the mid/upper 30's tommorrow night
I'd be worried about those people from TN....
Nothing wrong with wanting to be appreciated, maybe even pampered every now and again. Relationships as in life is a two way street, if all you do is either give(or take)there is no sense of staying together.
You must have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night
Martin, my dad(who is 85)quit smoking when he was 81. He hasn't gone back to it, and he started when he was 14. He told his doctor at the time what he had done, the doctor questioned why he would bother quitting at such a late stage in life. Well he still hasn't had one to this day
