Her best bet was to see the Wizard
With that the munchkins bid Dorothy
good bye
They told her to follow the yellow
brick road
Seeing she had no broomstick she
could fly.
So she started her journey
Just her and Toto
Down the yellow brick road
She started to go.
So After a while she came to a four
way corner
Which way now, she didn't know
She looked for someone to give her
directions
On which way to go.
All that was to be seen
Was a lowly, unkempt scarecrow
She thought she heard him talk
But she thought to herself no.
But he spoke again to her amazement
Just as plain as day
So Dorothy moved closer
To hear what he had to say
She released his nail
He fell faster then a runaway train
When she asked what he wanted
The scarecrow said.."I'd like a brain".
Dorothy spoke of her journey to Oz
And asked the scarecrow if he'd like
to go
But she warned him of the wicked witch
The scarecrow shrugged and said fear
was one word he didn't know.
So off they went together
Down the yellow brick road
Dorothy felt so much better
For she has a friend she could share
her load.
