Her knight in shining armor
Had long since passed away
And she missed him
Each and every passing day.
The sunrises that they shared
Didn't seem as bright
And the loneliness hit home
Especially at night.
She kept coming back
To what she considered her
second home
It was the one place
She didn't feel quite so alone.
