Crossing the Border

I was reading blogs other day, and I came across an interesting one I felt the need to expand upon. I have visited Canada a number of times in the past, and for the most part I have enjoyed these trips. But now I feel no need to travel across the border, frankly it has become more of a bother then it is worth. If I want to be treated like some terrorist piece of trash I will stay in this country, thank you very much. Now I understand these people have a job to do, but to do it in such a cold and rude fashion..hey I can stay here and get treated that way. The last time I went to Canada it was a game of 20 questions, they wanted to know every detail of our trip..including where we were staying and did we have reservations(only about the trip at this point). If Canada is looking to solicit people to visit then I believe they should look to giving their border guards tips in customer service, because frankly it'll be a long time before I go back.

You should try being Canadian, trying to get into the US of A. Our border Guards could learn a few things about hospitality from the rude Canadian Guards you encountered. He made the decision not to try to come here again years ago. I miss him too. Clearly the terrorists have won. We are now afraid of each other and everyone not like us.By the way, Thanks to the Honorary George Bush Recession, for the first time in my life, Canadian Pennies are worth more than American Pennies!
