Though they were not present in the courtroom you had to believe that there was some sense of joy in the hearts of Ron Goldman & Nicole Browns families. For OJ Simpson was convicted of 13 counts of aggravated robbery/ assault for his part in the theft of a Las Vegas sports memorabilia dealer. For Simpson this should be the end of the line, though his attorney defiantly stated that they will appeal the case. Simpson had the look of a man who knew that his luck had run out, as the last 13 years had been a gift and only delayed the inevitable. Simpson had been able to slip through the cracks of the legal system 13 years ago, thats when he was acquitted of the brutal murders of Goldman & Simpson-Brown. Though he was acquitted he was later found guilty in a civil lawsuit filed by the Goldman & Brown families. The judgment was for 30+ million, which Simpson was forced to pay, mostly through the sale of his Brentwood house and sale of personal memorabilia. So now the question remains, how long will Simpson be facing when he finally is sentenced. My answer would be, not long enough.
