I was watching the news the other night and I saw something that kind of troubled me, and I wanted to get your take on it. Captain Sullenberger, the airline pilot who landed in the Hudson river and his crew testified on behalf of the airline industry. Seems that the airline is now looking for bailout funds from the government, and they are using Captain "Sully" as their front man. I think the airline industry should be ashamed of themselves, turning a hero like Captain Sullenberger into nothing but a corporate shill. Not only Captain Sullenberger but also his crew, cashing in on their heroism and current fame. The airline industry figures if they can't get bail out money on their own that lets use Captain Sullenberger to get it. Maybe I am making more of this then I should be, after all it's been standard practice in this country to use hero's to champion causes and raise money. I bet the financial & auto industry wishes they had a Captain Sullenberger right about now.
