The sun touched his face
It warmed his soul
And what was incomplete
Again was made whole.
He viewed his journey
The up and down
Being able to rise
After falling to the ground.
He began this adventure
With remorse looking to repent
And wondering if this time
Would be time well spent.
As he traveled he realized
He had nothing to repent for
In his heart he was no saint or sinner
Nothing was wrong with expecting more.
So the journey he decided
Should come to an end
And for the first time
He considered himself his friend.
