Holly and Bevan are now officially back in Dallas. The movers arrived Friday with their belongings. Bevan and I were there trying to supervise them to see that boxes got put in the right place.
We still found one of the cushions to the couch in a box in the guest bedroom; Kenzie's socks and panties finally showed up in a box in the playroom; but, overall, things have gone fairly smoothly.
We have been unpacking since Friday and have actually made a real dent in the job. No pictures on the walls, of course, but the girls' rooms are completely finished, the kitchen, living room, and dining room are back in place, as are all the bathrooms. All the dishes are washed and put away; the pantries are stocked, and we had the last of the glasses in the dishwasher as I left.
The other two bedrooms are respectable as is the game room, so we are all feeling quite good about the progress we made this weekend.
Holly and the girls arrived about 7:30 Friday after the girls finished their last day of school in Waco. They will get enrolled tomorrow and begin their classes Tuesday morning here.
I don't know who is more thrilled that we are finally back together again--the girls or me. In spite of helping to unpack, I still got to spend some really quality time with each of them individually and both of them collectively.
They are both so sweet, and I am so blessed that they love me so much. They are truly what makes my world go round.
