The first Catholic woman tells her friends "My son is a
priest. When he walks into a room, everyone calls him
"Father."
The second Catholic woman chirps, "My son is a bishop.
Whenever he walks into a room, people call him, "Your
Grace."
The third Catholic mother says, "My son is a cardinal.
Whenever he walks into a room, people say, "Your
Eminence."
Since the fourth Catholic woman sips her coffee in
silence, the first three women give her this subtle,
"Well?"
So she replies, "My son is a gorgeous, 6' 2", hard-bodied
dancer. When he walks into a room, people say, "Oh my
God!"
Thought I would begin with a coffee joke today, since I am posting a picture of my favorite coffee cup. Everybody has one, don't they? Mine was actually a gift from SIL, who surprises me every now and then by doing something extraordinarily nice for me. Â
Aside from the fact that I like the size of it, he actually made this cup especially for me. I took a shot of the inside because the "5" in the bottom represents the five Heisman trophy winners OU has had, and the numbers around the rim are the years that OU has won national championships.
There's a story behind how he came to make it. Holly and Bevan are always doing neat and unusual things with the girls. When they were living in Waco, there was a place nearby where people could pick out an object, paint it, decorate it in any way they liked, and then the people would fire it for them...all for a price, of course.
They took the girls there and Bevan made this cup for me while the girls were doing their things....I also received a lovely coaster that Kenzie made for me.Â
Anyway, I treasure both the gifts but especially this coffee cup for obvious reasons.
Cool, huh?
