Have Mercy!

Not since William T. Sheman , that dirty rotten scoundrel, marched through Atlanta has there been such distruction.

Last night a tornado ripped through downtown Atlanta. It was amazing. It was a miracle. There were so many "what if's". What if it had happened during the daytime? What if the SEC game had not gone into overtime? Many more injuries, deaths would have happened.

What if Sherman had taken a left turn in Rome and marched into the Atlantic Ocean??? Not a bad idea!

Atlanta is a beautiful city. It will once again survive.

Only once in my lifetime have I witnessed the beginnings of a tornado. That was in Oklahoma and I was a guest in a hotel with my year old son. They scare me a great deal, as do earthquakes.

I'm scared of tornadoes. You folks fear earthquakes. I've witnessed several of the latter

I saw some of this on the news. I was watching the weather channel last night and they were talking about it. Kind of scary. They said the winds were 130 mph. You never know when and where one is going to hit. It is that time of the year for sure although, if conditions are right it can happen anytime and any place. Glad you are ok.
