We have enough wonderful memories to last the rest of our lives, and enough photos to last us ten lifetimes. We figure that we have easily over 1000 photos between the 700 we took, our 300 wedding photos, and the 60 taken of us when we were paragliding off the Alps.(Oh yes... we went paragliding and it was AWESOME!! Of course we were both attached to a professional who did all the real work.)
We've been back since Sept. 25th, but with a reception to organize, a bunch of relatives in town, and a million other obligations, I've barely had a moment to myself. By the end of it all, I felt like I had walked a thousand miles... we were both completely drained, and just needed some time to rest and reflect.
And while a temporary lull has allowed the dust to settle, this next week is promising to be just as busy as the last with a calendar filled with dinners and lunches to catch up with friends n' former co-workers. Not to mention Canadian Thanksgiving which is next weekend. (Can I be horribly honest here and say that we're both kinda sick of looking at pictures of ourselves?)
So anyhow, before things start gearing up again, I thought I'd just pop by here while I had a moment to say "hello", and let you all know that I really do miss reading your blogs and hope that you're all doing well. I will be back soon... I think I just need another week or so to get life back on track.
In the meantime, out of our bazillion wedding pictures we had taken, I've chosen this one to post for now. I think this is probably my favourite because it's one of the few photos that is not posed, and really captures our genuine happiness. :)

Beautiful...
