Today was a good day.

I had to work of course, but it was still a pretty good day overall. I have been getting calls from a lot of places, all temp agencies, but I believe that only good things (and companies) will follow from that. I might be meeting with a lady who does "direct placement" which seems promising. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I emailed her my gripes with the current job - atmosphere, chained to the desk due to phones, etc. etc. etc. She responded that she could see why I would want to get out of there and that she wanted to meet me. Yay! So we might be meeting soon. Dare to dream of better things on the horizon!

I read mmmhollywould's blog and had a good chuckle about the best man at a bachelor party who is claiming rape. I must say, I hate bachelor parties anyways, so all I could do was laugh and say serves ya right idiot. Men. Well --- most men. I don't want to hear that I am generalizing! Tee hehe.

I think the majority of the reason that I am happy is because the exec's I work for are out of town at a conference. Makes life easier I do declare! :0)
