Nebbish Weather Event ...

All I can add to the photo is that it rained, then iced, all night. This is NOT snow. The morning music is the cacophony of chain saws.

I had a few ice pellets hit me while I was gathering wood, but nothing like what you got. An amazing storm. It's always fun to see a photo of somewhere you've been!

Ice does terrible things to trees but I am glad you are safe and warm.

Hope you've got everything you need and don't need to go slip-sliding out there on that street.

We could get by for about a week here, but thankfully we don't have to worry about that. Our power stayed on, so far. Our larder is stocked and it is warm in the house. Thanks. The roads are wet but not icy anymore.

I like the photo -- modest but cute little neighborhood. Sort of out of the past.

Way past, but it is in an historic district. All these buildings were constructed post-1913 after the devastating river flood that killed many people and wiped out the area.

I heard it was a particularly noisy storm. Hope it's over soon for everyone.

The noise of the ice pellets smacking the windows in my bedroom woke me several times.

I hope Alfredo and Mike get their power back quickly.

We did not lose any power we lucked out.But do have a generator just in case. Not bad for us and plenty bad for a lot of people out there still dealing with the outage and road closure, debris etc.Our fence came tumbling down and lot of limbs and branches along with plenty of rain.
