Blizzard Warning ...

Tomorrow we will get 8 to 12 inches of snow and winds from 35 to 50 mph in a blizzard. The worst time should be from noon to 5 p.m. And I have to be at the bank door in the morning when they open, then dash home. I already salted the walks and steps.

(From the Facebook page of the Advertiser-Tribune, our local newspaper)
Tiffin and Seneca County are among the areas under a blizzard warning 7 a.m. Wednesday-7 a.m. Thursday. Heavy snow is to combine with gusty northeast winds to create severe weather, according to National Weather Service. There is to be 8-12 inches of snow. Snow is to spread northeast across the area Wednesday morning, and heavy snow and wind gusts of 35 mph are to create blizzard conditions during the height of the storm Wednesday afternoon and early evening, according to the weather service.

Every time I hear the snowy forecast for your part of the country, I think of you. Sounds like you have things under control, as best they can be.

Boy, you really got socked with snow. My area got about 6 inches, and it taught me a lesson about keeping track of the weather.

We are well stocked, except for fresh vegetables. Lots of cat food. I made a pre-storm run early this morning for a tub of litter, smokes and a stop at my bank. When I was in the bank was when the snow began. Turns out it didn't get to be a true blizzard. To be one it had to have three hours of sustained 35 mph wind. We had plenty of snow and wind though. I think by the end of this between 8 and 9 inches, maybe. Hard to tell because it blows around and drifts.

Sorry about the heavy labor involved in a big snow. You've got all necessary vittles stocked up, yes? Kitties look adorable, all flaked out with catnip reverie.

Those kitties are soooo spoiled! At least you have some soft little bodies to keep you warm if the power goes out!

Looks like the heaviest snow will be east of you and west of me. I dislike winter more and more every year.
