A few months ago, I blogged about a box of pistachio nuts that Donna brought home for me from Wal-mart. The manufacturer is a California company that guarantees the quality of their nuts. If you find one that isn't open, it says, send it back for a free box.
Well, as luck would have it, I found a questionable nut in the box. I posted a pic, and all you guys who commented said the nut wasn't open. So I sent it back, and sure enough, the company agreed with youz, and sent me the coupon you see above.
The letter containing the unopened nut had first been returned to me for insufficient postage--the post office was calling it a parcel, since it wasn't flat. But after adding another 40 cents, or so, the deal was done. So I'm a happy camper. Now it's off to Wal-mart on Friday for my freebie! They best still be selling the brand, I didn't see any last time I was shopping there.
BTW, apologies to the anti-Wal-mart folks, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do to make ends meet. Have a good one!
