Today is the last day to vote for your favorite animal shelter on Care2. So, if you don't have a favorite shelter that you want to vote for, I'd like you to vote for Heart of the Catskills (Buster's alma mater). Both links below go to the same page. Donna isn't too happy with the site, since they don't support rabbits, but...
Heart of the Catskills is no-kill, and they do a great job with the resources they have. Local fund raisers always bring out the crowds. We had 507 votes last time I looked, but I don't know where that places the shelter in the standings. Winning shelter gets 10 grand!
Uh-oh, I think I missed voting on this! Hope your shelter won.. any shelter could use the money! They all do good work... well, the ones that keep the pets until adopted.
