This is guaranteed to be the most boring video you have ever watched. It is me and the boyz walking down the highway in the Town (not Village) of Delhi. I watched all of Maria's videos of where she lives in Jakarta, and those were interesting, mainly because they show life in a foreign country and they show more than a road. Ok, so you have been warned.
Boring as it can be, I like to see where online friends live even if it's just a picture/video of the pit where they have their campfire and hangout til dawn. So, assuming the link works on mybloggers, here it is.....
Benny is still wearing his cone when he's unsupervised. It's been 11 days, but the stitches haven't dissolved and there are still sections of scab, so there is no sense in letting him hurt himself now. Another day or two should do it. Poor guy wants so badly to go into his crate and relax, but I know what he'd do eventually.
That's an older image from last week, but the more recent pic is too large by 135 bytes.
The warm winter weather is about to end for a few days. We had some flurries last night that melted today, but temps should be in the single digits tonight and tomorrow night with wind chills way below zero. But the February sun is already getting higher and warmer, and any snow that does fall melts more quickly. I don't too much care about the weather when I spend most of the winter inside, but I am concerned with the melting and possible flooding. Shouldn't be any problems this spring. The water-table is going down and unless it rains for a few days straight, a few inches of rain won't do much harm.
I do need to slice and dice a bit more wood. I knew it would be close, and the pile is low enough now that I can tell it won't last another month, which is what I need it to do. The price of fuel oil is still ridiculously high, and there's no reason for it. I couldn't believe what I heard on NPR the other morning. There is a glut of oil but the price is going up because refineries are being closed. That should be illegal!!!
Anyway, I'm not going to get worked up over that. Not yet, anyway... but I probably will when it costs $12 to run the tractor long enough to mow the lawn this summer.
Happy Spring!
