The great, long vacation/honeymoon is coming to a close. We'll be starting out toward Ocotlan on Thursday and should be arriving on Saturday if all goes well.
I have a lot of catching up to do with you guys. I miss reading your stuff.
My clothes seem to have shrunken (is that the correct word?) in this American water, or something like that. I see an impending diet looming on my Mexican horizon. In the time honored tradition of the U.S., "I'm going on a diet after the first of the year!" LOL
My wife and I (that still sounds neat on the ears) are recovering from weather related illnesses and other aches and pains incurred from lifting heavy suitcases and lugging them around airports and staircases. Frankly, right now we just want to be in our little apartment in Ocotlan, setting up housekeeping.
We wish you all a wonderful New Year!
A note from the pastor: If you feel separated from the presence of God, or just not quite as close as you once were, take this opportunity to confess your sin to Him, ask for His forgiveness and leave those destructive habits and thoughts behind. This can be a new beginning for you!
I'm trying to set some personal goals before the New Year rolls around. They will probably be the topic of another post sometime in the near future.
Until later, thanks for stopping by!
