Re-aranging to Lift My Spirits

Good Sunday Evening, Blog Pals:

As you all will recall, I've been super bummed over the last day or so due to my niece Jethrene's decision to pack up and move back out west, thus taking her children away. So, in an effort to elevate my mood and give me something to do to take my mind off, I re-aranged the furniture in my bedroom. It took awhile and those dust bunnies under the bed weren't going without a fight but I finally got it done. It gives the room a whole new look and I like it. It helped quite a bit with my terminal despair and despond. It was a nice day today too...lots of sunshine and blue skies (although it is clouding up now) and temps at about 60 degrees. I turned the heat wayyy down and opened up the windows to let some fresh air in. It was fabulous. I feel somewhat better for the moment, although my heart is still heavy. I must be strong and carry on. I have an election to win. My deepest thanks to all of you who expressed care and concern.
Well, in the "there's a silver lining to every cloud" department, Precious Snowflake, the kid in the apartment across the hall from me is moving. Yes, friends, he's 'asposed to be out by tomorrow according to what Maybelleen was telling me when she was by yesterday to fetch the rent I saw him moving a couch out last evening. I do hope she rents to some quiet old person, like moi, after this. And for some icing on this particular cake, I saw the Inconciderate Assholes, who live in the apartment above me and and have a water fetish, moving some furniture out too. Could it be? This would be just too perfect. The only down side would be if she got people who are worse. And believe me, it can get so much worse than them. So I watch and wait and hope for the best.
The eagle craps tomorrow and for a few days, I will actually have a buck or two in my purse. I do so love the first of the month.

Have a good week, everyone.

Living in an apartment complex can be a thrill every month. No one ever knows who his new neighbor may be!

Landlords are a strange breed. You would think that they would try to pick better tenants, but with everyone being quick on the draw to call a lawyer and sue for any reason they cannot be as picky as they would like. Us old timers are normally great tenants, quiet, polite, considerate, and I am sure you our future first prez, fit the bill quite well.
I love opening the window and getting fresh air, Hope you can cope, just remember it is for the little ones best interest.

I am glad that you are feeling somewhat better. Hopefully the new tenants will be quiet and respectful. I'm sorry about the situation with the kids moving away. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Buggs~ hope things work out with the kiddies~ where there is a will, there's a way, and lordy knows we ALL know you have the kind of strength to make things happen. Yep, I thought those folks would end up being thrown out or moving. Will cross my fingers that you get some quiet neighbors. ( Get ready Texas, bigger and better, that's what our buggs is!)
