Good Saturday, MyBloggerstown:
Well, payday for all us retirees has come and gone. I have a whole $9 in my wallet. Yay!!!! I haven't bought my prescriptions yet but still in good shape..as apposed to usual.
Anybody out there watching "Game of Thrones"? Jesus, I love that show. I bought the first season on DVD as a Christmas gift to myself. I normally don't go in for all that sword-and-sorcery stuff but this is great. It just grabs me. Waiting with baited breath for season 5 to come out. Then I have to find someone with HBO so I can watch. I've read all the books too, and they are equally fantastic. The books and the series seem to enhance each other unlike some book to film efforts where one has little or nothing to do with the other. I highly recommend this to everyone. Warning: it can be violent (beheadings, dragons burning people down etc.) and has some male frontal nudity(pant pant), but well worth the time. I wish the author would get on the stick and write another book. So many things were left hanging in the last. I want to know what happens to Tyrion, Sansa, Auria, Jamie, and all the gang. I fully intend to become a character on the show. Honey from House Bugg. My sigil is a big, fat ladybug with an ice cream scoop in one hand and a church key in the other. My words are "I'm retaining water, awright?"
Otherwise, we've had quite a bit of snow here in Cow Snot. It hasn't melted much because it's also been quite frigid. The Redneckmobile has performed admirably and has started every time it's been called upon, knock wood (bugg taps side of head). I yearn for summer so I can bitch about the heat.
The fam damily is recovering from the holidays and are settling into their new digs. We're all meeting over at brother Bubba's Sunday for dinner, cards, and a post mortem. Can't wait to find out how the dogs are dealing with the new condo.
So, that's about it from the wild and wooly west for now. Have a good weekend, everyone.
