Hope to hear from you soon, kid! I missing you!!!!!
Sounds like a great time...except for the luggage! Happy New Year, Stiva!
Happy New Year to you too, Cisca! Glad you're feeling better!!! Enjoy Costa Rica! It is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL country!
An absolutely BEAUTIFUL baby!!!!! You've got a lot to be proud of, Mama!!!!
My two granddaughters (ages 5 and 7) would LOVE Candy Cane Lane!!!!!
I'm SSSOOO GLAD that I'm not the only one with these lapses!!!!!!! I too often lose things, or misplace things and swear that Mary Ellen took them! Often, I'm so glad that I kept my suspicions to myself when the missing objects turn up...exactly where I had placed them!!!! Happy New Year, buddy!!!!
These are GREAT! I never had a leisure suit, but I did own a Nehru jacket. It was burnt orange...and double knit. I also had shag carpeting and beanbag chairs with doobie-burns in them.
I am sitting at work right now in the middle of a snow storm. I just had to shut the damned radio off because the "traffic reporter(???!!!)" is making it sound like Horsemen of the Apocalypse just came riding in Connecticut. IT'S 3 to 6 inches of snow, for Christ's sake! If you can't handle it, move to Ecuador!
This Christmas was also the sixth one without my Dad, and, for some reason, I had a harder time with that this time than in times past. My heart goes out to you. As far as the the other thing is concerned - I truly believe that there are some very jealous people in this world who have a hard time seeing other people being happy. Without knowing any of the particulars in your case, if you think that what has happened is a police matter, I would seriously consider getting them involved, especially if the attacks continue. Don't discount yourself. If someone is maliciously harming you, you've got a right to stand up to them. And if you feel guilty about "hurting" somebody, remember that they are the instigators. You are merely defending yourself.
Sorry you were feeling so bad on Christmas!!!!!! Through the nose, huh? That's ROUGH!!!!! How was Milwaukee. I went to school there - Marquette University. Spent a lot of time on West Wisconsin Avenue. And A LOT of time drunk at "The Lake"!!!! Happy New Year, kid!!!!!!!
I don't think it makes any difference on which end of the political spectrum you reside, this has GOT to infuriate you! These guys play fast and loose with OUR money, as they have for decades, as they keep getting re-elected!!!!! Will Rogers once said, "What keeps our politicians in office is the short memory of the American voters." William, I think you know me as a fairly liberal sort, but I am ashamed of the senior senator from my state, Chris Dodd (as much as I am dismayed by the jr. senator from my state, Joe Lieberman!!!!), and I will never vote for the man again. (Do you have any IDEA how much it pains me to say that? My good personal, EXTREMELY conservative drinking buddy Oombutu - you may want to check out his blog here, is having a field day with this!
Where you see one, you see a thousand, huh? Sounds like my relatives around holiday time!
I think I'll pass.
Absolutely fantastic! What a fantastic Christmas present to your uncle!
I HATE being sick!!! I hope you're feeling better soon, Annie!
