Oh boy! This is a tough decision! Christmas, in my opinion, is a time for Family and for the youngsters. I would go to WI, and then I would swing the car a bit north to NY on the way back home for a day.
Kristy, When donkeys fly. (Although my new wife is working on it!)
Teal, It's AMAZING what a good night's sleep can do!
They make this old man cry!
WOW! I figure things must be rough for since I've never seen you curse in print before, and this article contains one "####" and two "shits"! Sounds like you and J have been through the wringer, but you guys hold on tight to each other, and you'll make it. (Love can do amazing things!) Recently, I am no stranger to hard blows that life can deliver. The only thing that gets me through day by day is the love of my friends and pets, and the love that Mary Ellen and still share across the universe. I should get back to blogging again too. Sounds like good therapy. Mel, it is SO GOOD to hear from you again, even if the news is not the best. However, it sounds, by the tone of your writing, that the worst is behind you, and you will persevere and THRIVE. (I just KNOW it!)
Oh! How I've missed your insight, wit and sarcasm!!!!! Nice to have you back, my friend!!!!
Godfrey Daniel, but this is a wonderful post!!!!!
I can hear the late, great Lenny Bruce and George Carlin giving you standing ovation from beyond the clouds! As Carlin once said, "You can't disguise a swear word, no matter how you doctor it up! You can't fool me, man; "shoot" is "####" with two O's!"
Merry Christmas, kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Kristy! I've signed the petition too! Spread this around!
I think we're safe. The sun just came out this afternoon, and, thus far, not a problem!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, all right!!!! I'll feel pretty stupid though the first time I wave and somebody doesn't wave back! (Maybe I'll wait for THEM to wave first, and then return it.) GOD! THE PRESSURE!!!!!!!
Personally, I hate bachelor parties, and I got to very, very few. However, the few that I have attended are pretty damned boring. Card playing, drinking, some pretty UNpretty strippers, and LOTS of macho talk. That's about it.
Goats are the friendliest and funniest of creatures! I had a herd of them (French alpines and toggenbergs) when I homesteaded in Maine.
