Good!!!! It just amazes me that people still think and act as if their way of living was the only "right" way! Many of these folks from the religious right who have issues with people living "alternative" lifestyles are the first to say things like, "We are all equal in God's eyes." I don't understand their reasoning, their arrogance or the intolerance!
Every once in a while, we all have to get back to our roots. The past stays the same - we can count on it. Nobody can hurt us there. Periodically, I drive past my two grandma's houses. I sometimes even stop the car out in the street, and just stare and remember. Somehow, it just replenishes me. I remember the times as a kid climbing the trees in their yards and playing games and family gatherings, and those things just make my heart swell. Funny what we long for, isn't it? You mentioned "squirrels" and it made me smile. Now that you've made your travel plans, you can enjoy the anticipation of the trip as well as journey itself!!!!
It's amazing how people come to you aid in times of need, isn't it? I hope your mom is okay!!!! It sure sounds painful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE snow!!!!! ESPECIALLY since I've got a plow on my old truck now, and I don't have to use the old tractor to get out of my driveway!!!!! MUCH warmer in the enclosed cab of the Dodge!!!!!!!!

You're right, Annie! The new Wii is fun, but 50-year-old-PLUS folks have got to be careful with it! I think I pulled two muscles since Christmas, and I practically took out the Christmas tree with an errant tennis serve!

Hi Eddie, I'm am so sorry to hear things are not going so well for mybloggers. I really enjoy it here, and have a lot of friends here. As a businessman myself, I truly believe that if you charge per post, you will lose your blogger base here. I also believe that the same will happen if you make it into a niche site. When you limit the topics that can be written about, you also limit your contributors AND your audience. There's got to be other ways to raise revenues.
Remind me never to go to Wal-Mart again! Merry Christmas, Bill!
