Wow! Such Hate on the Other Site!

I decided to check out the last 50 posts on the other site as I haven't read anything in there in awhile. I was shocked--and it takes a lot to shock me--how many gay and liberal bashers are posting there now.

It seems jozie has developed many clones--many very conservative 'christians' spreading their messages of hate, even against the new president elect before he has done anything.

And so many anti American young posters. That site sure has changed except for some of the old 'christian' bashers who are still there.

Stupidly--yes, I admit it--I was stupid--I answered some of them BUT don't plan to read their answers back to me--hopefully they will just delete my comments--I have no intentions of fighting with them and getting down to their level--oh, well, I am allowed one stupid mistake a month and that was mine for this month--actually that was my second (which I will blog about over the weekend) as after many years I sent an e-mail I shouldn't have.

I'll just blame everything on the tranquillizers!!! LOL

I haven't been back in so long. I feel bad because it means I haven't been reading Donna's blog, but it is just too slow.

I am over at the other site very frequently, but I stick to my "family" of blogging friends. I don't scope out new bloggers but maybe once or twice a year, I don't visit bloggers I recognize from the site much more than that, either. Whoever you see listed as a friend is where you'll find my network of communication in there...the only real exception is when a "stranger" leaves a comment and I reply back. I don't intend to abandon the good rapport I have established there with other bloggers, some of whom I now truly call friends, especially if the other site is the only site they use. I like this site, too, better than I did before because things have improved since I got this newer computer. Without the many problems I used to encounter happening anymore, it is much more pleasurable to be here, to post, and to comment. I would no more think of staying away from friends here than I would think of it at the other site. I don't come here for mybloggers, I come here because of the people I care about, just like I don't blog at the other site for Blogster's sake, it's because I like communicating with the people there. I really don't care who the other bloggers are...I don't go to either site for them, anyway.

As we all know, yet it still happens, you cannot judge a "group" by the actions or words of a select few. There will always be radicals, whether they be Republican or Democrat, straight or gay, and on and on. It is ridiculous, though, that a huge group of people can be stereotyped by what a few has done. It just shows the ignorance of the one that is passing judgment.
Yes, it is shameful what goes on at Blogster. The hate and racism runs rampant, and now that there will be a new President, bloggers have as much as denounced Obama, refusing to acknowledge him as President Elect. What is their next step, to denounce their citizenship, the very thing they accused Barack Obama of doing?!?

Martin: I'm surprised that other blogsite still exists. Here's an idea for California...
Start an initiative petition to remove the right of Mormons to marry. Tit for tat.

I attribute such comments as lack of a proper upbringing, I have taught my children that just because a person is different does not make them any better (or worse) then anybody else

I can't even get on the Blogster site. Somehow, I got logged off and nothing I do will let me log back on. Frustrating. I was just trying to start blogging there again.

You know Martin.... I sometimes think that we have been born with different eyes sight or at least, our brain is just seeing what we want to see or what we don't want to see. Because as a Christian, a political conservative... it seems to me that all I see on the different blog sites is the bashing of Christians and conservatives. I, too, get tired of reading about how terrible we are and how terrible Republicans are.

It just strikes me that you are seeing one thing and I am seeing another. Like I said, I think we may have different eye sight and our brains are processing things differently.

I'm glad that I can have friends in both worlds. I may not always agree with my friends on every subject, but they are still my friends. I think that all of us need to work on throwing everyone into certain categories by labeling. All of us are individuals with our own views. We need to celebrate each others individuality.

I do hope that you consider me a friend just as I consider you a friend.

I never visit the old site anymore...too much drama over there. I often find it bizzare that those who proport themselves to be "christian" often behave in the most un-Christ like manner. The Jesus I was taught about was all about love, acceptance, and tolerance. He never said "Love thy neighbor...except if he disagrees with you...then kill him" I'm fond of the old Woody Allen quote "If Jesus would ever return and see what was being done in His name, He'd never stop throwing up."

...I have really been having a difficult time with those that bash gay/lesbians also, as well as some Christians that just seem to speak before they think. I am a Christian but I fully believe in God's grace. I don't ever want to become a person that is filled to such a depth that it becomes okay to lash out at others who believe differently than I do. I know everyone disagrees, but we should all, as adults, know that we must act maturely and responsibly. I read a post last week, in a fellow blogger, here at MyBloggers, and was honestly shocked at what they had written about another blogger. It was very clear who the person was lashing out at and honestly, it sickened me to read it. I don't understand how it can be 'ok' in their eyes to behave in that manner. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now.
