Update on Dorian & Ft. Lauderdale

So far so good! About once an hour we get a heavy downpour and the winds pick up. Weather report just said that winds will increase to 25-30 mph with heavier gusts through the night and into tomorrow. As soon as the rain and wind die down the sun comes out for a bit and things go back to 'normal' September weather. Though you can't see it from the pictures the trees seem to be tilting and as soon as the wind stops they stand straight! It looks like Dorian will go north of us but we will get the heavy bands of rain and wind from the outer bars which is what we are getting now from Dorian and it is still over the Bahamas where it is passing over very slowly causing a lot of crisis situations!
