Sunday in Fort Lauderdale--part 10

Who says
we don't have seasons in South Florida??? Directly below are some
pictures I took today and below that were in the summer. Okay so are
leaves don't change colors as red or yellow as they do up North and our
summer flowers bloom all year round but if you look at the grounds you
will see the start of the falling of the leaves! Also I am not sure what
that duck is up to across the way as she(?) has been sitting there for a
couple of days. She might be sitting and a new hatch of ducklings so I
will keep an eye on her. Right now all over the city you can see ducks
guiding their new babies and, let me tell you, they rule the roads. You
hear the screeching of brakes!!!

I'm loving the autumn colors I see all around me, combined with mostly balmy weather. Soon it will be cold for a few months, but that's OK. I'm kind of glad to not have to take care of the garden 12 months out of the year.

We have 10 months of winter and 2 months of summer. You have the opposite except for the winter.... oh well... if it works for you....

Actually we have 3-4 weeks winter---2-3 weeks Spring---3-4 weeks Autumn--the rest is summer---no snow storms--no ice--no scrapping off windshields--no shoveling snow---no ear muffs, heavy jackets, snow boots, mittens--very little heat bills---no hurricanes for 8 years--sun, sun, sun, sun, sun--I love it!!!
