Seeds Are Springing Up

(THE BLACKBIRD IS WAITING!)

It
seems I am not able to go into the Dollar Tree without being ‘called’
by the seed packets! Each week I am walking out with new ones.

Last
week I walked out with packets of tomatoes, peppers, carrots and beets
and got around to planting them yesterday. The latest video shows the
new sunflower kit I planted last week and some of the seeds I planted
the week before. I forgot to take pictures of the radishes outside but
they seem to be doing okay except I do have to thin them out but I don‘t
know which to take out and which to leave.  (Some ‘farmer I am!) I did
‘lose’ the herb kit by over-watering.

As far as the new veggies
go I only planted 2-3 seeds in each pot and am saving the rest or might
give them to my neighbor downstairs who has a garden outside her window.

Next report in April!

Good luck with your next plants, I just managed to kill a bamboo. I was going to try herbs next, so I will try to not water too much.

How come, with your year-round nice weather, you can't grow veggies year-round? Your coldest weather during the winter is warmer than a lof of my summer growing season.

I, me, myself and I don't have any ground to plant them in--only the first floor tenants have land for gardens!

Damn! Where did you find the horrid music on the youtube slideshow? Anyway, good luck. If I remember correctly, you'll need it especially for the root vegetables.

You don't have much choice on YouTube.
Worse comes to worse I'll cut the greens and tops to add to a rice vegetable dish in my crockpot!
