On
the left is the first cover I made up for the June edition of the
Gazette and on the right is the second and last, I hope! The first was a
copy of a copy of a copy, etc., because somewhere along the way I
deleted it. By the time it was ready to go to be printed it had faded
out so I made a new one with fewer and bigger pictures and, since it
would be the first color cover, I put the writing in a brownish-red. It
was suppose to have been printed Friday with a copy left for me which I
didn't get. A problem? Was it printed? Looks like I won't know as the
office is closed until Tuesday. Very frustrating.

I'll
be the first to admit that I am naive and take people at face value
especially when it comes to blogging as I don't understand people lying
when they are behind a false name anyway. It happened again yesterday
with a 'new' blogger who, after a few exchanges, I realized was an old,
in many ways, blogger hiding behind a different avatar and username.
They couldn't hide their bitterness or combative nature plus Republican
leanings and name calling. LOL

I
am not a lover of Denny's but I do go there occasionally as,
comparatively speaking, they are inexpensive, have a good variety and
are conveniently located. I, also, have a little nostalgia for this
particular one as I worked in this building, when it was a Wag's, for a
number of years. Another plus is that they finally have servers who know
what they are doing--Denny's is notorious for bad service. Don't know
if you looked at the above pictures but Denny's is on a bacon
kick--bacon on EVERYTHING, including an ice cream sundae and, no, I
didn't have it!

I
don't think I mentioned that my doctor said I have psoriasis on the
back of my head under my hair!! Ain't fun folks. I go to see the
dermatologist next month and he will give me a load of lotions that
won't work. Always something to knock you for a loop so you don't get
too complacent!

"I could do nothing without my problems;
they toughen my mind. In fact I tell my assistants
not to bring me their successes for they weaken me:
but rather to bring me their problems,
for they strengthen me."
Charles Franklin Kettering, 1876-1958 American Engineer and Inventor
