always just stare, not knowing what to answer. This is usually followed
by, "Okay, your top 10?" I have been going to the movies as far back as I
can remember and probably before that! I was raised by the movies--I
ran to a movie theatre when I needed to be alone-- when I needed to know
that not all families were like mine--movies made me laugh, cry, gasp,
escape the world--here I am, at 76, still believing in "Happily Ever
After", still crying in movies, laughing, being astonished, getting
caught up in other people's lives and learning about the world. I might
have a 500 favorite movie list but then I would add 500 more knowing I still left some off the list. All these would certainly be on the list:
I know all of you won't recognize at least one of these but I am sure a lot of you won't recognize more!

"Men give me credit for some genius. All genius I have is this:
when I have a subject in mind, I study it profoundly. Day and night
it is before me. My mind becomes pervaded with it...the effort
which have made is what people are pleased to call genius.
It is the fruit of labor and thought."
Alexander Hamilton 1775-1804 American Statesman
