You Have Good Days and You Have Bad Days!

Most of you know I had a 'bad' day Tuesday when I tripped and fell face down on the sidewalk--and, yes, I am going to  milk it
up until the last scab disappears!!--and you never know whether a day
will fall into the good, bad or just another day when you wake up in the
morning.

Allen
ran out on me just because he had a free invitation to spend the
weekend in Key West--WELL!!! Friday is 'our' movie day and he would
rather go to Key West?? You never know about people! (I'm kidding
Allen!) In any case I was debating between a few pictures when I decided
I wanted something light and fun so "Puss in Boots" it would be (read
my review tomorrow)--not having a car (adding insult to injury Allen
drove down to Key West in his car--WELL AGAIN!) I had to call TOPS for transportation going and coming which could be an iffy thing.

The
movie was playing downtown at the Riverfront and started at 1:10 PM and
they said they would pick me up between 12:23 and 12:53. At exactly
12:23 'my private' car arrived and off I went downtown to the Los Olas Frank Theatre. Not only did I have private transportation but as it
turned out I had a private showing of the movie. (I guess everyone went
to the 3-D showing!) Not only did I have a private showing but I lad
separate seats for my popcorn, soda and paper.

By
the way the icing on the cake was that the movie, popcorn and soda were
ALL FREE as I had enough points on my movie reward card!! I did have to
share the 'limo' on the way home but I was dropped off first.

On
some days things just work out and this was one of those days--besides
it being a beautiful, cool (for South Florida), breezy day which made
for a nice walk along the riverfront before the car arrived--so who
needs Key West?!?!?! LOL

a kind look, a heartfelt compliment---countless

infinitesimals of pleasurable and genial feelings."

Key West, indeed. You did all right on your own.

And he had a miserable time there---

Shock of shocks! No movie review?? Or does that come next? Not that I will read it, let alone go see it.

Well IF you had read this you would know the answer to your question!!!

3D movies are no novelty for me. They make my eyes hurt. Why pay extra for something you won't enjoy?

The last time I fell, I sprained my wrist. My doctor really questioned how it happened. I think he was checking to make sure I hadn't had a stroke or TIA. I tripped on uneven pavement in my driveway.

I'm glad I didn't break anything because the reality is that at 76 the bones don't knit that quick!
