Finally Caught Her in the Act!

I have been trying to get one of the tiels spreading their wings or flying and finally got Cassie in action today.

I have a basic digital camera (might be better if I read the instruction manual one day!!) and if I can get a picture of them flying it usually comes out blurry. The few times they have stretched their wings by the time I got the camera out and took a picture it was too late BUT today, for whatever reason, she spent a few minutes stretching and here are the pictures.

Beautiful birds! My mom in law had one named Rocky that was so sweet. I'd talk to him all the time. He was adorable. He died finally of old age and it was very sad for her.

He was a great bird though.

She is beautiful. How large is the wing span? It looks huge but may just be the angle of the picture.
