Feeling Bad? Sad? Mad? Come to Karen Bay at Gatewa

I was having a rough day today--no sleep for 36
hours--but I have a cure right at hand--I take a walk around the
Gateway residence and go to the 'point' where Karen Bay with its $3mil+
homes, yachts and water are spread out like they all belong to
you--24/7 the views are delicious--and then there are the 'extras'!!!

Karen Bay from Gateway point looking towards the north--Sunrise Blvd.

Karen Bay from Gateway point looking east to the ocean--A1A

Karen Bay from Gateway Point looking South

Overall view of Karen Bay from Gateway's pool point--chairs and tables are in stock room due to Fay

Branch of Karen Bay that goes past my building

Pooch poop bags are provided all over the premises (as are boats!!)

Looking
at the breezeway where all the parties are held--not to forget the
'happy hour' every day where residents bring snacks and drinks

Inside
the breezeway--they are about a dozen tables and 3 times as many
chairs--plus notice BIG grill against far right wall--gets used a lot!!

How can you not feel better after just taking a walk around OUR Gateway?!?!?!

It's like a piece of heaven! It's beautiful...oh, what a great place to live. If I can't live there, then I certainly would love to be able to visit. Beautiful, Martin!

I've riddenright passed there when my dad used to own a boat years and years ago. He and mom retired in Lauderdale and lived in Bal Harbor right off the intercoastal on Middle River. We'd hop in the boat and just cruise down to Miami all the time on the intercoastal. I saw them do the Christmas parade once with the boats being lit up. That was so cool. You have a great view there. REally wonderful. I'll let you know exactly when I'm coming down and maybe we can meet for coffee before my friend and I embark.

verah cool pics, Marty. All I have to look at is the ramshackle house of the perv next door and the jungle that used to be his lawn before he became a guest of the state. I'm getting my lawn chair, beach towel, sunscreen, and binoculars (for "bird watching" wink wink) and moving there. Love those boats.
