Cuban Butterfly Plant and Some Whimsey

Leaving
the breezeway one afternoon I snapped off a 5-6" twig off the plant
right in front and from that twig I now have full plants on the window
sills of my bathroom, kitchen, 3 in the living room and one out on the
walkway. It is amazing how easy they are to grow and how quickly, how
often they bloom. The flower blooms all day long but dies at night. Come
on over--I'll give you a twig!

AND FOR A LITTLE SUNDAY WHIMSY!

I am not surprised that you are on google with this. Your fame is spreading-like the cuban buttercups. It is too tropical for me. And it is on the noxious weed list also. Too bad.

It is called Cuban buttercup? Do you know the Latin name by chance? Common names vary by area.

Geez.. I looked for a vendor after I had the name but only found one link that sells/sold seeds. Bummer...

If you lived here I would give you a twig off of one of my plants--don't think I could mail it to you--maybe a local nursery can get a plant for you?
