This afternoon Jill, Gino, Allen and I--Emily couldn't make it as she had dental surgery--went for lunch at Bennigan's--not
to say service was so bad but they were very busy and very short
handed--had to wait 25 minutes for a cup of coffee!!!--the manager took
two meals off the check. I really thinkBennigan's is on the way out--they have already closed a bunch of stores.

Went over some last minute items/details so that is less for me to think about.

Some times you can be too smart--as soon as the stimulus rebate was announced I sent in my tax form--a couple of weeks later they mentioned direct deposit so I sent in another form with information--on June 23rd I got a letter that I would be getting my check on June 27th--didn't
get5 it--last night I called the IRS and after being on hold for 45
minutes I finally got to talk to a human being--seems I confused them with the two forms so there is a hold up on the check--should get it within a month--we will see.
After
lunch I went and sent $87 on lotto, Fantasy5, Mega Money and PLay4
tickets for a month except for Play4 which you can only get 8 plays in
advance--will have to make up schedule for Allen to buy tickets!
After getting the tickets Allen and I had teh same thought--due to the service at Benigan's we forgot to get dessert so we decided to swing down to 17th Street and teh Cold Stone creamery and get some ice cream--hey, I might not get any ice cream in the hospital or rehab--theyw ill probably want me on a healthy diet ! :O)
Tonight I will be busy getting the bird's cages ready to take over to Jill tomorrow.
Though
I am a big TV watcher in the evening I realized that I won't miss, and
can live without, ANY program--be funny if I gave up TV and went back
to reading and writing in the evening instead!!! Not only funny but
wise! Now smoking is something else! LOL
I'm feeling great, positive and optimistic and that's the bottom line!!!!
