LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Hollywood will enshrine an eclectic bunch in its famous curbside Walk of Fame next year, including Hugh Jackman, Ben Kingsley, The Village People and Tinkerbell.

Recipients of the sidewalk stars also include Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey Jr., Tim Burton, Leslie Caron, Charles Durning, Ralph Fiennes, William Petersen, Kyra Sedgwick, John Stamos, Mark Burnett, Chuck Lorre, Kenny ''Baby Face'' Edmonds, Dave Koz, The Miracles, Doug Morris, Rush, Shakira, KFI radio personality Bill Handel and KCRW host Harry Shearer, who also provides voices for characters on ''The Simpsons.''

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee chose the recipients, who were ratified by the board of directors Thursday.

You may not be familiar with Mark Burnett because he is British. Whether a fan of reality TV or not, that type of programming has made a name for itself on American television and Mark Burnett is the person most credited for creating the concept of reality tv. His name appears in the credits of many such shows.

I'm not as familiar with Doug Morris, but I believe he's an executive or producer or something like that with Universal.

I won't go so far as to agree with you about Stamos' talent...because he's certainly has more than I have...but I do agree with the fact that there have to be others more deserving. The two men I just mentioned, although maybe not as recognizable, have done more to deserve the honor.

I loved checking out the Walk of Fame. I think it's sometimes getting tough to come up people to add to it because so many with notable names and talents have already been honored. My only thought as to why fredo was passed on...you see, he wasn't overlooked at all, he was just put "on hold" because much of the Walk of Fame is in such disrepair that a lot of work must be done to keep it from remaining an embarrassment. In it's present condition, it's not worthy of having fredo's name on it.

That list has become meaningless...

its all political....talent has nothing to do with it or 'fredo would have been the first. Case in point: John Stamos. The mole on my a-- has more talent than that overrated pinhead.
