It Snowed All Night!

I very seldom dream and if I do I don't remember what I dreamed but last night I did dream and it all was about snow scenes I had been in when I lived in the North!

I have a feeling the dreams were triggered by the white chocolate macadamia nut caramel cheesecake I had yesterday at The Cheesecake Factory which came with three mounds of whipped cream!!! (Hey, you have a better reason?!?LOL)

The first dream found me living back in NYC on west 75th street near Central Park in a small apartment that had a bay window. The apartment was dark, last at night and I was sitting in the bay window watching the snow fall on the street looking magical as it fell through the lights of the lamp post right outside my window. I remember going out and walking to Central Park and being mesmerized by the quietness of the city without traffic.

In the continuing of the dream I had just left my apartment on 8th Avenue having to go to 23rd street and 7th Avenue during a real blustery winter snow storm. With head down I forcibly turned the corner knocking a guy on his butt while I slipped and slided on the street. That's how I met my first lover! :O)

A couple of years earlier I met someone who had a cabin in the mountains of New York and we went up there for a weekend and got snowed in. It was like out of a movie the next two days. WE slept, made love and read poetry to each other in front of the fireplace where I had built my first fire. To this day I remember every minute of that weekend but I don't remember his name!!!

The final dream--and don't ask me how I got THERE--I was in The Snows Of Kilimanjaro at the foot of the mountain with Ava Gardner and Gregory Peck in the movie of the same title!!!

Anyone care to interpret my dreams--especially the last one!?!?!

White chocolate...creamy cheesecake...rich and sweet...euphoric...hmmm, anything here make you think of snow, mountains, romance, a good story? And, then, Martin, all I can say is that your imagination took over from there!

It means you didn't have enough blankets last night. Throw a quilt on the bed tonight.

Off Dreammoods.com

To dream that you are watching the snow fall, represents a clean start and a fresh, new perspective. It is indicative of spiritual peace and tranquility.
To dream about a blizzard, suggests that you are feeling emotionally cold and frigid. You are feeling excluded and left out. It may indicate a lack of love and the absence of warmth within your own family circle.
They didn't say anything about Ava & Gregory though....

Without trying sound like a compleeeete weirdo, I think the last dream represents a need to overcome obstacles and be where you were the most happiest in your life. Mountains can often represent hurdles in present day - which we know you are going through, making it to the top 'I' belive represents courage to overcome your difficulties. You dreamt this because I think that you 'know' that you have a strong spirit and one step at a time 'WE MyBloggers town' know you can make.
