I lived in Greece for two years (64-66) and never learned to drink Ouzo; I think it is nasty. I did acquire a taste for Retsina which is their national wine. We lived in an area called Kalamaki which is not far from Athens. My oldest son was born there. Would love to go back someday.
LOL!! That is funny, Fredo.
I can't be trusted in the kitchen with a knife so my husband will not let me get near a chainsaw. You were extremely lucky it was no worse. Bless Mary Ellen's heart, she is like me. I am ok until it is all over and then I burst into tears. Glad you are healing. Maybe you should get rid of the chain saw.
You keep shooting a golf score like that and we will see you on the professional tour, maybe the Masters! How wonderful for you that your son wants to come for a visit. Don't worry about the money, you can always print some more. My tomato plants are looking strong.
Don't you just love hummingbirds? I have a feeder at my home and one at work. The hummers appeared here about two weeks ago. A sure sign of spring.
So we did not get permission to go into Pakistan. Did anybody get permission before they flew two jets into the Twin Towers? I don't think sooooo. I love your post; they always make me laugh.

Oh, I would have burst into tears. How sweet! I would say you did a great job of raising a thoughtful, loving son. Congratulations.
Oh boy, Randy....that is a very sensitive subject. Who will get to pick & choose? Maybe the next generation will come up with the answer, ours certainly has not been able to solve the problem.
Obviously the woman had brain freeze.
What a funny picture. The big one looks sorta like Kris' Kraymer. Under The Tuscan Sun was a great movie with beautiful scenery. You will have a great time on your trip; take lots of pictures for us.
We are in the eighties during the day and the high fifties at night. Perfect weather. I planted 3 tomato plants Sunday and have my fingers crossed.....I do not have a green thumb. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
I am amazed at your strength and calm demeanor. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. ((()))
Oh Dottie, never under estimate your ability. It's all in the eyes and you captured it to perfection. Awesome!!
