She said that she had just now been to the Tiffin Art Guild Art Gallery where the volunteer recommended that she call me. Her call to me was a request to paint her daughter's name on two canvases.
"I don't usually do that kind of painting," I said, "but I could probably squeeze it into my schedule next week or two."
"Good," she said. "I would be willing to pay for it."
"Of course," I replied. "I don't work for free. Do you want an estimate? I'll need the size of the canvases and..."
"All I can pay is twenty dollars," she said.
"I'll leave some calls with the members," I said. "Maybe someone would be willing to do it for that little."
