Here I sit, typing on my baby's brand new lap top which he generously let's me take charge of because he knows how much I have missed having one. And I wanted to write a blog because I haven't written much lately, I've been very depressed and I can never really write comfortably on the desk top in the living room. I log on and browse the recent blogs and I had the best, unsuspected prize awaiting. Not only did my guy write a blog (which is sooo super cool that he's actually participating in and sharing something important to me), but the blog was about me. It was pretty much the sweetest thing I've ever read! From just about the sweetest guy who ever lived!

So I know you all know quite a bit about my guy, but I have been totally slipping on telling you all the fabulous stuff he does for me (because he actually wants to).

Every morning he takes my dogs out so I can sleep longer. Then he tucks me in and kisses me goodbye.

He brushes my car off when it snows.

Every morning when I get in my car to go from the middle school to the high school, I have a voice message from him telling me how much he loves me, can't wait to be home with me, that he's thinking of me and that he hopes I'm having a good day.

As soon as he walks in the door from work, he gives me the biggest bear hug. He says "Hello my love. I missed you so much today" and kisses me. Sometimes our embrace lasts for quite a long time, neither of us wanting to let go.

He constantly brings me little surprises that show me how well he knows me. He's made me two custom t-shirt designs at work as a screen printer. One is the "I <3 2 Blog" (I love to blog) shirt. He got me both pink and yellow! The other is a black pug (like Quinton) listening to an ipod and it says "i-Pug". I get so many compliments on that shirt. I have it in red, orange and yellow! LOL He had the woman who does embroidery at his work embroider a white rose on a big fluffy bathrobe for me, because of the significance white roses have for me, my mother and my sister. He's made me boquets of paper roses, bought me boquet after boquet of real flowers, made me a book of 17 poems written for and dedicated to me. He's written me more poems since then to add to my book.

He makes me smile. He loves to make me feel pampered. He always asks if I need anything. He brings me hot tea when I'm in the tub :0) He gives me full body massages(and expects nothing in return!) Sometimes he'll just go get my favorite cream and rub my feet while we're sitting on the couch. He does the grocery shopping for me because it's a chore I hate! He comes home with my favorite candy bar and says "Sweets for my sweet!"

One day he came home from work and takes a small, folded paper out of his pocket. He says "Today I was slow at work and had already cleaned my office. I thought to myself what can I do? And so I wrote this list "100 Reasons I Love Gwen" With a smile, he adds "Can I read it to you?"

He plays with the kids, makes them laugh. He takes them out when I need a break. He's an excellent father. He never loses his temper. He's always calm and rational.

I met him on-line almost 10 months ago. My tag-line said "Will you be my best friend? Check yes or no." He was the one and only who wrote back "I check yes" He's spent every day since fulfilling that promise and learning all of the fine print that went along with that check mark!

For all these reasons and for all the ones I haven't yet mentioned, I am so very lucky to have found my guy!
