Ugh!

today was not such a good day at work. My stupid register was acting stupid, only during the busy rushes. It was locking up and not letting me finish a transaction. But I had one customer who was just so nice! He told me not to let it frustrate me. He said I did everything right, I apologized to my line of customers and explained what the problem was. He also pointed out it was through no fault of mine. I told him he was the best customer ever!
At one point I was so busy when I looked up at my next customer, I saw it was my brother in law! I told him I didn't even see it was him! It really makes my day when people I know come through my line.
So me and Kota are relaxing. He is getting ready to do homework and then we are going to grab dinner somewhere. Hubby has a meeting tonight and won't be home. Its for his job at the racetrack that he does twice a year.
I am off tomorrow! Yay!

What a pain! Must be exasperating for you, but you are a trooper who can reach down deep for cheerfulness and smiles for your customers. Folks in line understand its a machine problem and not you. Glad you got through the day and can put your feet up!

A department store here in town doesn't allow their cashiers to ring up the purchases of relatives since one of them was ringing up one or two cheap items and bagging ten items. It's truly amazing what some people think they can get away with.

I hope you can relax on your day off.

Some customers can be so wonderful. I love it when i get to help people I know at work. It is just so much fun.
