Twilight Series

Yesterday was one of the best Thanksgiving dinners ever! My sister in law did all of the cooking. And she out did herself. I think I ate way too much and can probably go a week without eating now. They some how even got me to play games. I am not much of a game person. But I played cards with my nephew Brian, one of my favorite people, and I played jenga too. It was fun!
I have mentioned Brian before but I will refresh your mind. Brian and I call each other our other half. We are so similar and so in tune with each other that is like we are the other half of each other. We got to talking about the Twilight series and I told him how mad I am because I cannot find the second book. He has the whole series, so we made a quick dash to his house so I could borrow them all. He and his mom are the ones who took in Pepper the beagle and one of our cats when we had to get rid of our animals. So I got to see my little buddy Pepper. She was so excited to see me. I have been so busy with work that I just have not had time to go visit her. I miss her so much!
Speaking of work, I go in today at 2 but only work until 6. I think I can survive that. And most of the black Friday specials happened around 5 AM.
We had a small disaster here yesterday morning. Kota was not feeling well and had a bad case of diarrhea. Well then the toilet got clogged and would not unclog. Hubby had to run to walmart for some unclogging stuff. It still was not working right by the time we had to leave. But he got it fixed last night. After we made another at stop at walmart for more unclogger. and it was pretty quiet in there last night. I did pick up a warmer jacket for myself, at hubby's urging. All I have been wearing is a hoodie, that's all I had. I picked up one of those flannel insulated jackets in the men's department. The only coats in women's were big puffy ones, and I don't like puffy.
And now I am going back to reading my book. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by your loved ones. And if you go shopping today, be nice to your cashier!

The books were fantastic (Twilight)..but the movie..it wasn't good at all. If you didn't read the first book you wouldn't have really understood it at all. Very disappointing.

I had to work today too. It was very very slow in the morning and then picked up around 1 PM. One of my customers told me about the man in the Walmart that got killed after being trampled on by a mob of customers. I couldn't believe it! Had lots of talkative customers today, so that was nice. Glad you had such a great time yesterday!

Isn't it wonderful to have a true connection to a young person? Sounds like great fun! Sorry your son wasn't well. Guess your plumbing is in order again.

Enjoy the rest of the Twilight series!
It sounds like you had a wonderful holiday.
We just got back from grocery shopping at our nearest Walmart. It seemed like they had everything under control. It was busy, but really adequately staffed.

After seeing the first movie of Twilight it has lost me as a reader and almost certainly won't see the sequel!
